Part of the concrete structures in China have entered the aging stage, steel corrosion isextremely serious. The engineerings show that the stirrups corrosion in concrete structuresis more serious than the longitudinal reinforcement, corroded stirrups not only cause theirown cross-section decreases, but also the degradation of mechanical properties and rustcrackingof concrete protective layer, which lead to reduced constraints on the core concrete.This paper combine the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation method to study themechanical properties of corroded stirrups confined concrete, which can provide atheoretical basis for the remainder of existing concrete structures evaluation andstrengthening of the transformation.Analysis the degradation of rectangular stirrups constraints on concrete and corrodedstirrups mechanical properties of the law, proposed the corroded stirrups confinedconcrete strength calculation model; Using the ABAQUS finite element software to studythe corrosion stirrups confined concrete performance degradation rule, and ve·rify that theabove calculation model. The finite element analysis results show that the corrosion ofstirrups confined concrete peak stress, peak strain and ultimate strain decrease with theincrease of the corrosion rate; the stress-strain curve of peak points decreased, and therelatively steep descending with the increase of the corrosion rate.Use corroded stirrups confined concrete prism axial compression test results tovalidate the numerical model is reasonable;Stirrups corrosion rate and peak stress, peakstrain and ultimate strain relations, the establishment of a corroded stirrups confinedconcrete constitutive model and determine the relationship between model parameters andstirrups corrosion rate. study the corrosion of the stirrups on the performance of concrete structures on thebasis of considering corroded stirrups confined concrete material properties degradation,establish the corroded stirrups axis of compression members the ultimate bearing capacitycalculation model, the eccentric compression members bearing capacity model, as well asflexural member inclined section shear capacity calculation model, and use test data toverify its rationality.
