The safe and reliable operation of Distribution network is related to the vital interests ofthousands of users. Distribution feeder automation technology improved the operation andmanagement level of distribution network. With the development of distribution automationtechnology and the formal promulgation of the IEC61850standard, the high-speed networkcommunication which based on the general object-oriented substation event (GOOSE) hasgradually matured, it provides a new technical means for rapid self-healing distributedintelligent feeder automation system, which can achieve the rapid removal of the fault anddon’t cause the power outage of non-fault regional. In this paper, take self-healing controltheory as the theoretical basis, developed a new distribution automation terminal of fastself-healing distributed intelligence which based on the GOOSE.In the first place, made a study of the distribution of self-healing control principle,according to the rapid self-healing principle of distributed intelligent feeder automationsystem, write the saver combined with GOOSE messages, realize the automation terminalprotection function, To ensure it can quickly locate the fault zone, isolate fault areaautomatically, automatically restore the supply of non-failure region. Made a In-depth studyon the architecture of the IEC61850standard, focus on the communication configurationdescription language of transformer substation IED, analyzed GOOSE communication model.In the second place, made a In-depth study on the common object-oriented substationevent model, use IEC61850scl_srvr routines of the SISCO-MMS Lite software asr the basicframework, add code in it to achieve GOOSE communication,and protect the data associatedwith the IEC61850data, complete the software design of the IEC61850standard distributionautomation terminal. Finally, with the use of analog circuit breaker and ONLLY-A460computer tester, makingdistribution automation terminal connected to each other and simulating the open loop,closed-loop of the distribution network fault, then,test the distribution automation terminal.According to the experiment,it was shown that the designed Distribution Automation terminalcan verify the fault isolation and recovery in place, accelerate the speed of fault handlingsignificantly and avoid the grade trip effectively, improved the reliability of power supply.
