For the research of the vibration performance of heavy commercial vehicle, especially for the cabto predict the vibration characteristics, evaluation and optimization, to improve the cab comfort is ofgreat academic significance and value engineering. In this paper, a certain type of heavy-dutycommercial vehicles is used for the study, two were from the theoretical and test point of view, the cabof the vibration characteristics of the study.(1) The research of theory. Heavy commercial vehicles of a type necessary to simplifyapplication of the Lagrangian method, a cab and seat contains a certain type of heavy commercialvehicles nine degrees of freedom model of vertical vibration, vibration analysis of the model structurerequired for the road incentives, using random response calculation method in the frequency domainanalysis in different road conditions and driving speed under different vibration characteristics, andthe cab in different locations within the longitudinal plane vibration characteristics were analyzed.Developed a heavy-duty commercial vehicle vertical vibration model solution system using VisualBasic6.0and MATLAB joint program, heavy-duty commercial vehicles for the vibrationcharacteristics of such projections, estimates and providing an effective means of optimization.Orthogonal experimental design and range analysis to study the cab front and rear suspension springstiffness, shock absorber damping on the vibration characteristics of the cab to find a greater impactfactors for cab suspension of preferred to provide a design basis. From the human body-the driverseat comfort systems point of view, optimizing the stiffness of the damping parameters of the driver’sseat, improved driver comfort.(2) The research of vibration test. Comparison with the real vehicle test results, the simulationresults to verify the validity of the model was verficatied. And heavy commercial vehicles of a certaintype of benchmark models with cab vibration characteristics of the standard analysis of specificstructural features, qualitative suggestions to improve the direction and measures.
