Tiltrotor aircraft is a new type of aircraft.which combined and has the advantages ofconventional helicopter with fixed-wing aircraft.It has been one of the hot sop of aeronauticsField.The coupling of the wing and rotor of tiltrotor aircraft is more complicated than helicopter.Whirl flutter is the most serious problem when tiltrotor is forward flighting in airplane mode and is amain factor that affects the speed of forward flight.There are two parts of this paper. In first section,a aeroelastic dynamical model of wing/nacelle/rotor couple system is founded to study the influences rotor and dynamic parameters on whirl flutterof tilt-rotor in cruise flight.The model is based on Hamilton’s principle and the multi-bodymethod.Based on the model,the influence of the coupling between flap and pitch,the coning angle ofhub,the stiffness of wing, the forward-swept of wing are studied.Based on the calculated results of first part,a light semi-span tiltrotor model is designed. Therequirement for wind speed is lifted and the phenomena of tiltrotor aircraft’s whirl flutter can beobserved. To farther testify the correctness of the theory, a kinetics experiment is designed preparingfor future study.Compared to the research of tiltrotor internationally, further research is needed. The conclusionof the paper provide some reference to the researching on tiltrotor in our country.
