With the development of the global economy, the energy crisis and environmentalpollution has plagued Governments. Renewable energy, in particular wind energy, itsdevelopment and use has been widespread concerned. In China, wind energy industrydeveloped rapidly also, but the design of commercial wind turbines in Chinese marketwere almost import from Europe, and wind turbine manufacture company in chinaalmost do not own any core design technology, especially the blade aerodynamicdesign technology. Therefore, establish a specific wind turbine blade aerodynamicdesign method is of great significance for wind turbine manufacture companies.We start from the horizontal axis wind turbine aerodynamics theory, considerengineering design applications, put forward the blade aerodynamic design process,and then propose the blade aerodynamic design goal and method, it is helpful forimprovement of blade design development.
