With the residential waterconsumption in the proportion of the total urban water consumption increasing, thatmake the saving water and energy of the water supply system in the residentialcommunity can’t be ignored. So, the paper make the residential life water system as theobject of study, and have optimization studies on the water and energy saving from theresidential water consumption and the way energy consumption analysis.Firstly, the paper analyzes the composition of residential water consumption, andmakes the optimization of each component of water ration. Based on the waterconsumption per capita annual statistical value of all provinces and cities in2003~2010, and the water ration of all provinces and cities affiliate public construction rulesor try out, Using two average method to optimize the residential community life andaffiliate public buildings water ration, get the water quota suggested value of domesticwater and residential community affiliate public buildings.
