The element-free Galerkin method is a new kind of numerical analysis method that is developed rapidly in recent years. Without element mesh and based on the dispersed nodes to form approximate interpolative function dynamically, Compared with the traditional finite element method, it have many merits, including the high accuracy, the convenience of the postprocessor, the elimination of the volume-lock, the improvement of the convergence and continuity and so on, it provides a new effective analysis method for the engineering numerical analysis fields, it has been widely concerned by the field of numerical analysis and engineering practice.From the existing references and related research, we can see:Element free Galerkin method has been made great progress in the field of civil engineering numerical analysis, especially in the analysis of plate on elastic foundation has made many achievements. But the previous computational analysis usually used square raft foundation as the theoretical model, for some special structures, such as Water Tower, chimney, silo, we have done less research for their Circular raft foundation.Based on the development trends of the element free Galerkin method in the calculation and analysis of elastic plate research and the related topics of element free Galerkin method, play on the basis of previous studies, By using different elastic foundation models, we do research on the bending of circular plates on elastic foundation by using element free Galerkin method, we have a in-depth discussion for the bending of circular plates on elastic foundation by using calculation program of Element free method:(1) By using the example of axial symmetrical bending of circular plates on a Winkler foundation, give the reasonable ranges of relevant parameters for weight function.(2) Select the appropriate parameters of weight function, to analysis the bending of circular plate subjected to a eccentric load on a two-parameter foundation, it’s proved that the element free Galerkin method is stable.(3) Influences of nodal distribution schemes and number of Gauss integrated dots on computational results are discussed, this provides a reliable reference for the follow-up study. In short, the element-free method for the bending circular plate problems on elastic foundation can be calculated, the calculation result is very stable, using appropriate weight function parameters, and near the boundary of the appropriate encryption nodes, can make the calculation result and the series solution for better fitting. The case study shows that:This paper Compiling Based on element-free Galerkin method based on the theory of elastic foundation plate analysis program EFMTWO is feasible, the result is satisfactory, and it has certain research value.
