| China is an Earthquake-prone country. The WenChuan catastrophic earthquake,with high magnitude, wide influence and big destroy, had caused great people’s livesand property losses. After it, some relevant codes of Structures for Seismic have beenconstantly updated, and then the seismic precautionary intensity of some areas has beenincreased, meanwhile, a large number of buildings’ service deadline nears. So many RCframe structure buildings need seismic strengthening and it has important practicalsignificance for reinforced concrete frame structure seismic strengthening technologyapplication research.This paper presents the seismic response analysis method of RC frame structure,and introduces the application situation of different seismic strengthening methods andtheir advantages and disadvantages. And then based on the strengthening engineeringexamples, this paper contrasts the internal force and the elasto-plastic reaction in rarelymet earthquake of original RC structure component with the reinforced RC structurecomponent. This contrast based on different situations, like using additional concreteshear wall, adding steel support, and expanding section method reinforced. Applyingresults get from contrast, this paper puts forward some basic thoughts for RC framestructure aseismatic reinforcement and provides the basis for choosing reasonablestructure reinforcement method. The research in this paper, hope for the actual seismicstrengthening project to provide valuable Suggestions. It hopes that results of this papercan provide some valuable suggestion for actual design of seismic strengening projects. |
