Currently,with the rapid development of high-rise buildings,building functionalrequirement are increasingly complicated. The high-rise building with a steel truss transferstorey is a trend of the development of high-rise buildings in recent years. Although it haveclear-edge,clear-channel capability,the structure vertically irregular structure and constructionare complex. There is few actual structures and experiments,and the current standard also nospecific involved. Therefore,the analysis of the high-rise building with a steel truss transferstorey under the earthquake force is the key. This paper based on the performance-basedseismic design theory established three-dimensional finite element model by SAP2000. Thenonlinear static analysis of the model assess to the seismic performance of structure.This paper has summarized the nonlinear analysis and the basic concepts and designprinciples of truss transfer storey building structure. The paper established three-dimensionalfinite element model by SAP2000and get the seismic performance of the structure with asteel truss transfer storey through the modal analysis. The analysis results showed that settingtruss transfer storey, the structure performance correspond with criterion; In addition to loworder vibration mode for the main control factors, high order vibration mode also made agreater contribution for the earthquake action of structure. So we cannot ignore it.For studied in the seismic performance of the high-rise building with steel truss transferstorey under the rare earthquake force. This paper established respectively different modelsfor Pushover analysis that have different steel truss transfer storey forms and put the steeltruss transfer storey at different storey. According to the results of analysis, the cycle andvibration mode, the sequence of the plastic hinge,the structure load-displacement curve, theweak layer location were compared in the elastic-plastic stage. The spectral ability assessesfurther seismic performance of structure clearly. This paper research the different steel truss transfer storey forms has little effect on theperformance of structure. While put the steel truss transfer storey at different storey hasgreater impact on the performance of structure, especially the weak layer location. The designof steel truss transfer storey focused on which storey is put the steel truss transfer storey andthe measures taken to the weak layer location.
