With the improvement of living standards of the people and the rapiddevelopment of tourism, people’s demand for trains is increasingly high. Currentlynot only do high-speed trains need to ensure safety when at high speed, but also toprovide a comfortable and health indoor thermal environment. Train ventilation andair conditioning system is necessary for high-speed train to ensure uniform interiortemperature and velocity distribution, thermal comfort and indoor sanitaryrequirement. Nowadays, the design of ventilation and air conditioning systems forhigh-speed train based mainly on the achievements of air conditioning in buildings,but the train indoor thermal environment is different from buildings’ in tightness,control and non-steady-state of thermal environment and other aspects, and simplybased on the theory of air conditioning design in buildings is bound to producedeviation. In order to design ventilation and air conditioning system for high-speedtrains, to improve the vehicles’ indoor thermal environment, experimental verificationwhich is under the guidance of theory become the key link. with the support of high-speed train National Engineering Laboratory (National Eleventh Five-YearTechnology Support Program sub-project)--ventilation and air conditioning test-bedCooperate with China South Locomotive and Rolling Stock Corporation Limited, thispaper researched a high-speed train ventilation and air conditioning test-bed throughan combination of modern measurement and control technology, computer technologyand software technology. The test bed which includes automatic detection and controland data processing provides a basic platform for the experimental research.Firstly, according to functions and the main technical requirements of the high-speed train ventilation and air conditioning test-bed, this paper put forward a generalplan for it, and also did research on the plan for test-bed Air-conditioning system.Secondly, this paper researched on the control strategies for the control of airsupply volume, of air supply temperature, and of inner and outer pressure differenceand for the start and stop of AHU and so on. According to the requirements of the testbed, it also designed the overall plan of detection and control system, and under theguidance of the overall plan, also designed the hardware and software. Hardwaredesign includes sensors, frequency converters and sampler selection and the design ofhardware principles. Meanwhile, based on Web Access configuration software, Visualization Software Interface with multi-stage user management function andfacilitate management operation is designed. In order to ensure the reliability of thetest bed, we conducted the error analysis of date detection, the conclusion was that thetest bed basically meet the test requirements; Finally, we developed data processingsoftware for the test bed according to the relevant requirements, the software realizedthe real-time display of the indoor temperature cloud and speed cloud, it created thecondition for laboratory personnel to understand the experimental data intuitively.Lastly, this paper took the ventilation and air conditioning systems in TP1trainfor research object, and tested the static pressure (total pressure) in air supply duct andthe velocity and temperature field under its summer conditions. With data processingsoftware, test data were processed by various methods. the test bed was fully appliedto test testing of the train ventilation and air conditioning system, this provided thebasis for the design of TP1train, but also reflected the superiority of the test-bed.In short, this test bed provides a basic platform for the research of ventilation andair conditioning system in high-speed trains in our country, but also make contributionto promote the development of high-speed air-conditioning trains, to improve high-speed train indoor thermal environment.
