The algorithms for aircrafts trajectory prediction are mainl discussed in the paper, in order thatmore accurate position and state of the aircraft can be provided to generate free-conflict4D trajectory, and achieve the automation of air traffic control system. According to the characteristics of the civilaircraft which fly invariably in conformity to the flight plan and air route structure, the modelsdescribing entire flight course are constructed by means of elements of Dynamics, Kinematics and theaircraft performances at the characteristic points of each phase based on BADA, and the historicalflight data. Using the aircraft trajectory prediction model in each phase and combined the statetransition model between the various phases of flight which based on hybrid systems with Petri nettheory, to syncretize the aircraft’s entire flight trajectory. Followed modeled the one-way andconvergence of two-way air route structure, using max algebra theory of discrete event, use timecontrol of an aircraft reaches the critical point technique, to achieve conflict-free4D aircraft trajectorygeneration, on this basis, established entire terminal area air route service model with max algebra, bydelaying aircrafts take-off time to generate conflict-free4D aircrafts trajectory. Finally, put aside thestrategic level, predict aircrafts short-term trajectory, use of radar data, flight plan, real-time telegraphand other data, using maximum likelihood estimation for aircraft flight parameters data fitting, fittingparameters into the original prediction model, and correct the error analysis, predict the aircrafts4Dtrajectory within a shorter period of time in the future. At last, the paper discussed the future for thisresearch.
