Inverter welding power is widely used in the national production and life, at prenset, thetraditional inverter welding power has low efficiency, poor reliability and low flexibility due toadopting hard switch and analog control. In order to overcome above problems, this thesis researchessoft switch and digital control of inverter welding power.which has important practical significancefor complying with the idea of energy conservation and environmental protection, improving qualityof welding.At present, Inverter welding power usually adopts full bridge phase shift circuits which haveseveral demerits such as duty circle loss, lag bridge hard to realize soft switch under light load,However, inverter welding power works in wide rang load (from unloaded to short circuit).In thispaper, a new full bridge soft switching circuit (AERCs-ZVZCS) is analyzed. The work principle andcharacteristic are analyzed in detail; its small single model is build as well. The topology has smallduty circle loss, simple to control, all switch can achieve soft switch in wide range load. Through theresult of circuit model and arc load model analysis, control and main circuit parameter are designed.Simulation results verified theoretical analysis at last.In order to obtain better control of the inverter welding power to get expect output characteristic,digital system based on TMS320LF2812is analyzed, its hard circuit and software is designed.A4.2kW digital control soft switch inverter welding power prototype is developed; theexperimental results are the same with the theoretical analysis. With the aim of optimizing the digitalcontrol soft switch inverter system further, power loss distribution is calculated and analyzed.
