Helicopter vibration reduction is always a difficult problem through out of helilcoter designprogress, and the main soure of vibraton is the rotor. Because of high stiffness, high isolationefficiency and the compact structure, fluid elastomer isolator has been widely used in modernhelicopter.The main research object in this thesis is the fluid elastomer isolator. By analyzing the principle offluid elastomer isolator, the mechanic equation has been drived and the parameters that influence thestructure size and isolation efficiency have been analysized. The isolation frequency, dynamicstiffness and damping can be caculated using this equation. On the basis of theoretical anlysis, a highsiffness and compact fluid elastomer isolator has been designed. Finally the dynamic test for theisolator is carried on, and the dynamic stiffness property has been tested. Comparative analysis of thetheoretical analysis and the experimental result show that the mathematical model is correct and theisolator that has been designed in this thesis is feasible.
