With China’s urban trail construction in its climax development, the metrorunning intervals with more and more existing constructions, this puts an inevitableinfluence on the existing construction foundation and the upper structure. In order tomake sure the normal use of buildings and the safe construction of metro. There ispractical significance to give a safety evaluation before the metro tunnel side-crossingthe adjacent buildings. It’s also necessary to take a more fundamental study of safetyevaluation method.This paper takes the background of Beijing Railway Line Ten the second phasepang-shi shield tunnel section side-crossing high building in adjacent distance. Theoryanalysis, field measurement and numerical experiment are combined as the researchmethod in this paper. The research is done deeply in the questions of basic theory,deflection control standard and evaluation procedure of safety influence evaluation inBeijing classic metro tunnel side-crossing existing buildings. The following works aredone:(1) Introduce the research background and meaning of this paper. The researchstatus quo of safety evaluation of tunnel construction to the adjacent buildings issummed up, and the key problem to study and solve in this paper is raised.(2) Study the dynamic interaction mechanism of tunnel, soil body, constructionfoundation, and upper structure,then study the numerical method to forecast thedeformation. And the method is used to analyze the influence to the constructionstructure in tunnel.(3) To raise up the systematic principle and procedure of safety evaluation of theconstructions, which mainly includes the research, examination and evaluation ofstatus quo of structure safety. FEM program ABAQUS is used to build athree-dimension FEM model to forecast and analyze the possible displacement andadditional internal force of tunnel side-crossing constructions. After a thoroughevaluation to the constructions’deformation ability, sensitive part of the buildings andthe control standard are raised. It is concluded with the control measure of safety riskduring the tunnel constructions.(4) This rounded evaluation method is used in the complicated constructionproject of Chuanbozhonggong building and to come up with the safety controlstandard. It shows that the evaluation result is promising.
