With the rapid development of computer vision technology, the three-dimensionalreconstruction and detection technology become more fast and accurate, especially inareas such as aircraft design and detection. The helicopter rotor dynamic3Dreconstruction is the key step for measurement of waving, shimmy and torsionparameters which are the rotor blade motion main parameters, affects the safety,comfort, reliability and weapons system accuracy of helicopters, is the importantexamination project in helicopter development, production and maintenance. The mainresearch work, achievements are as follows.1) Study of the advanced construction method of binocular stereo vision system inChina and foreign countries, design and implement a dynamic three-dimensionalreconstruction system base on stereo vision technology applied to helicopter rotor.2) Study of the stereo calibration method. In this article use the Zhang’s planecamera calibration method, develop the application based on OpenCV function library.Application examples show that, the method has a high accuracy and good stability.3) Suggest an improved disparity algorithm based on multi-window. In order tosolve the high error matching rate of the traditional multiple-window disparityalgorithm and the low matching efficiency of the large window multiple-windowdisparity algorithm, suggest an improved disparity algorithm of special position windowand optimize match cost calculation method based on multi-window, effective filteringthe camera exposure strength, edge, image noise and other issues’ effect on thematching process, reduce the rate of error matching. Experiments show that, theimproved multi-window disparity algorithm has higher efficiency compare with thetraditional multi-window disparity algorithm and large window multi-window disparityalgorithm, and effectively reduce the error matching rate, has a good stability.4) Study of the rendering steps of three-dimensional point cloud based on OpenGLlibrary. For the realization of helicopter rotor dynamic effect of three-dimensionalreconstruction, use the OpenGL double-buffer technology to draw points cloud, anddynamic display. Application examples show that, the method can performance adynamic three-dimensional effect of helicopter rotor fluent and accurate.
