Reliability is an inherent characteristic of the civil aircraft and also an important factor influencing flight safety, synthetic effectiveness and life cycle cost. Civil aircraft parts usually possess high reliability and are easy to generate zero-failure data. Therefore the deeply study of the reliability analysis methods for aircraft parts in the situation of zero-failure data should be developed. This is very important to correct evaluation of reliability and safety of civil airplane. In this paper, reliability data source of civil airplane is analyzed and the collection methods for civil aircraft reliability data are studied. For some civil aircraft parts’lifetime exponentially distributed, reliability parameter evaluation methods of zero-failure data are given respectively based on optimal confidence limit, least squares technique and Bayes estimation. For some civil aircraft parts’lifetime with Weibull distribution, the reliability parameter evaluation method of zero-failure data is proposed based on least squares technique. Then application instances are used to illustrate the effectiveness of the methods this paper proposed, and show clearly the application scope of the methods. At last, the reliability analysis system for zero-failure data of civil airplane is developed based on the above reliability analysis methods, to support reliability analysis and design of civil aircraft. The results of this paper can provide technical support for large aircraft reliability design and verification.
