Logistics facilities coordination scheduling problem of heavy-duty workshop is studied in this paper. In consideration of various logistics and operational facilities, the hybrid flow shop problem with blocking(HFS-B)is introduced to analyze this problem. A mathematical model of this problem and an optimization process of this scheduling problem based on genetic algorithm are established. Then a project example is given out and an optimization scheme of logistics facilities coordination scheduling of cranes, vehicles and operational facilities is got. At last, a dynamic simulation model using discrete event simulation method was built, and according to simulation result, this model was proved to be effective and exact.(1) A mathematical model of this problem is established. Firstly, the process of logistics of heavy-duty mechanical workshop is analyzed. Secondly, the method of the hybrid flow shop problem with blocking modeling is introduced to setup a mathematical model of this problem. The objective function makes the operational time shorter, and then the coordination of various facilities is improved.(2) Optimization process of scheduling problem is established based on genetic algorithm. According to the mathematical model, genetic algorithm is chosen. Fitness function and virgin parameter is defined. And last, the program of genetic algorithm is designed.(3) Example application. A typical heavy-duty mechanical department is chosen as an example. According to the mathematical model, and the program of genetic algorithm designed with MATLAB software, an optimization logistics scheme is got.(4) Simulation analysis. A dynamic simulation model using discrete event simulation method is built. A systems model is built based on Petri, and 3D visible simulationg technology is used to change a systems model to a simulation model. The problem of equipment configuring and layout of workshop facilities are studied. At last, according to simulation result, the logistics optimization scheme with the mathematical model is proved to be effective and exact.
