| Friction stir welding is a new solid-phase connection process with the incomparableadvantages to the tradition welding methods. It has been widely used in welding of lightalloys such as Aluminum, Magnesium and so on. With the low density and high specificstrength, the Aluminum and Magnesium is widely used in the field of aviation, aerospace andautomotive manufacturing. New the studying on the same kind of alloy friction stir welding ismore than the Ai-Mg dissimilar metal. This paper studied with the temperature simulation ofAl-Mg dissimilar metal overlap friction stir welding to made a theoretical basis for moredeeply studying. The lap experiments is made with thickness0.3mm of5083-H111and the AZ31. Thegood joins can be made in the appropriate parameters. Then the temperature field can be drawwith the paperback thermocouple and function of the X-Y recorder. It can been used inverifying the reliability of numerical simulation. The ABAQUS is used in the temperaturesimulation of Al-Mg dissimilar metal overlap friction stir welding with the differentparameters(welding speed from850r/min to1350r/min), different times and differentplace(the front, the middle, the tail-section). And then the Max-Temperature can been draw. |
