This thesis reviewed two successful models for the interpretation of conductivity of conducting polymers:percolation theory and soliton hopping model. Point out the inaccuracy when using soliton hopping model for it ignored the discrete nature of the polymers. When discrete nature is concerned, we find the embarrassment of using1-D based SSH model to3-D disappear.This thesis shows the conducting net work and compared with the conducting net work imposed by soliton hopping model. We find that even though charge carrier inter-chain hopping is ignored, the net work do exist for there are intercourse between the chains, and charge carrier can transport from chain to chain in those area.This thesis gives the mathematical solve about the system when concerns the discrete nature and gives the corresponding conductivity formula...
