The textile industry is one of the important pillar industry in our country, and it also hasdischarged a large number of industrial wastewater which caused serious pollution to theenvironment. Therefore, the researching on dye wastewater treatment is imperative.In this research, electrocoagulation-coagulating method is applied to process differentkinds of dye wastewater. This paper is divided into fourth parts.The first part is the introduction, it introdues the environmental and dye wastewatertreatment status, techniques of handling and the basic mechanism of electrocoagulation-coag-ulating, and has put forward testing scheme of this study.The second part is the experiment section. The methodology is to use electrocoagulation--coagulating treating a variety of different types of dye wastewater with a concentration of80mg/L. The results shows that electrocoagulation coagulating method can further improve thedye wastewater degradation effect on basis of the original separate wastewater treatment,which reflects the superiority of the technology. This study has discussed degradationregulation of different types of dye wastewater on several factors, such as electrolysis time,switching frequency, electrolyte concentration, influent pH, current intensity, coagulation pH,coagulant dosage, introduced their respective impact mechanism, muchmore, and it finallyconfirmed the optimal conditions and the removal rates of CODcr and chromacity under theoptimal conditions by using electrocoagulation-coagulating method to treat with the differenttypes of dye wastewater. The removal rates of CODcr and chromacity can reach up to95.5%and99.7%.It is discussed in the third part that the mechanism of removal of different types of dyewastewater by electrocoagulation–coagulating method.In the fourth part, the experimental study on treating different types of dye wastewater byelectrocoagulation-coagulating method is summarized, and it has made the technologytheorized and systematized on the experiment basic. It also has proposed forecast for thefuture research combining with experimental research and other research content whichrefering for future research.
