Clean Production Assessment In Fish Products Processing Industry

With the rapid development of aquatic products processing, a variety of modern fish product processing enterprises has formed including surimi products, seaweed, roast eel, canning and flexible packaging, dry products, frozen products and fresh fish products, which is the main driving force and ties for China to the development of aquaculture and the accessing to the international market.However, compared to the world level, pollution and utilization in the process of fish products cannot be ignored. On the one hand, the low technology content and production equipment were adopted in the fish processing; on the other hand, the high water consumption and seriously overweight in wastewater pollutants such as COD and NH4-N were resources constraints in the processing of aquatic products. For the above reasons, it is very necessary to carry out cleaner production in the fish processing industry.The main content of the paper is as follow:(1) Researches and analyses are carried on manufacture craft and pollutant discharging situation of fish processing industry, identifying the pollutant discharging joints and diagnosing the potential of cleaner producing.(2) Assessment standards of cleaner production of fish processing industry are studied and set. There are8aspects needed to be considered for the set of the standards:resource and energy utilization standard, pollutant characteristic standard, waste recycling standard, production standard, production process management, environment management system, cleaner production examination and execution correspondence of environmental protection regulation. With the eight aspects, following the definition of cleaner production strictly, setting the base on industry characteristics, stretching according to production, industry production and environmental protection are combined organically, providing fundamental basis for cleaner production examination of this industry. (3) According to many literatures and field visit, cleaner production technology of fish processing industry is studied and screened in many aspects, such as resource and energy utilization, raw material, production craft and instrument, management and sewage treatment, providing support and reference for technology updating of fish processing industry.
