Study On The Storage Mode Of Kitchenware

Kitchen is an important living space for mankind. A considerable number of kitchenware are placed in the kitchen, so is likely to look messy in the kitchen. So how to store the kitchenware is a question which we should take into deep consideration. The integrated kitchen cabinets have been moved into Chinese family for years, and improved the storage problem of kitchenware in some degree. Even though, there are still many families encounter with messy kitchen. As dietary habit is definitely different between China and the West, the storage problem of pot, bowl, spoon and other kitchen utensils could not be solved by the integrated kitchen cabinets. Base on this, we should stand on the traditional habits and culture, study on the kitchenware storage mode of China and the West, and explore a way that can fit for Chinese user.This paper is mainly study on the following aspects:Firstly, start from the definition and classification of the kitchenware, introduce the development of the kitchenware in China and the Western, and go forward to make comparison and analysis on the differences in habits of the kitchenware between China and the West. Secondly, based on the concept of storage, analyses the relationship between storage and space, people and objects, generalize the basic ways of storage, introduce China’s traditional storage appliances, and then study on the traditional and modern kitchen storage mode, and western kitchen storage ideas and kitchenware storage mode as well. Thirdly, explore the right kitchenware storage mode which is in accordance with traditional eating habit, and at last, explore the design of the kitchenware storage supplies from the form, shape, and material.
