During the last decade, a considerable interest has been paid to the chemistry of indazoles (benzo[c] pyrazole,1,2-benzodiazole). This is undoubtedly due to a broad variety of biological activities of indazole derivatives, such as anti-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory, local anesthetic, analgesic, and antiarrnymnic activities. In this paper, we studied the synthesis of novel indazole derivatives via tandem aza-Wittig reaction. The condition for cyclization was researched. The spectral properties of some compounds were researched. It can be summarized as bellows:1. A general novel synthetic method to indazole derivatives and the recent advances of aza-Wittig reaction are reviewed.2.1H-pyrazolo [1,5-b] indazole derivatives were synthesized using tandem aza-Wittig reaction. The synthetic conditions and properties of the target compounds were studied and discussed. The synthetic routes could be used as new method to construct1H-pyrazolo [1,5-b] indazole derivatives not only due to the easily accessible starting materials, but also for the simple operation, mild reaction conditions and the high yield.
