Mo(W)/S/Cu(Ag) heterothiometallic clusters have attracted intensive interest, not only for their intriguing structures and complicated variable bonding, but also for their potential applications in catalysis reaction and biological processes, Recent years, the continuous reports of their potential applications in strong third-order nonliear optics, have been of great concern for scientists. The thesis focuses on the synthesis, crystal structures and optical properties of the Mo(W)/S/Cu(Ag) clusters, six new Mo(W)/S/Cu(Ag) clusters have been synthesized and characterized, of which two are zero-dimensional clusters, two are one-dimensional polymeric clusters, two are two-dimensional polymeric clusters, follows:1[WS4Cu3CN(bpba)2-4DMSO]n (bpba=N,N’-bis(4-pyridinyl)-1,4-benzenedicarboxamide)2[(WS4)8Cu12][Ce2C104(DMAC)12]·2DMAC3[(WS4)8Cu12][Nd2C104(DMAC)]2]·2DMAC4[WOS3Cu3(CN)2NH(CH2CH3)3·DMF]n5{[Ce(DMSO)6(DMF)2][W3S12Ag3]}n6{[K(DMF)3][WS4Ag]}n1. The ligand N,N’-bis(4-pyridinyl)-1,4-benzenedicarboxamide was used to synthetize the two-dimensional Mo(W)/S/Cu(Ag) heterothiometallic cluster1, and the cluster1were characterized by the FT-IR, UV-vis spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.2. The copper salt Cu(MeCN)4C104as reactant was also used to synthesize the zero-dimensional Mo(W)/S/Cu(Ag) heterothiometallic clusters2and3. and the clusters were characterized by the FT-IR, UV-vis spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.3. Triethylamine hydrochloride was used as template to induce the structure of Mo(W)/S/Cu(Ag) heterothiometallic clusters4. and the cluster was characterized by the FT-IR, UV-vis spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.4. Mixed solvent-coordinated cation which the lanthanoid complex Ce3+coordinated by DMSO/DMF was used as templates to induce the structure of cluster polymer5and the complex K+coordinated by DMF was used as templates to induce the structure of cluster polymer6, and the clusters were characterized by the FT-IR, UV-vis spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
