In this paper,12kinds of Au nanoparticles with different shapes have been prepared by the methods of wet chemistry, hydrothermal synthesis and seeded growth such as spheres, rods, cubes, triangles and branches. In the synthesis of nanoparticles, the effect of the reaction condition on the shape of the Au nanoparticles has been investigated by controlling the proportion of the reactants and temperature. On the basis, the catalytic property of Au nanoparticles with different states has been carried out by using UV-Vis and the reduction of p-nitrophenol by NaBHU as the module reaction.Also in the paper, according to the property of Au nanoparticles, the study of the catalytic property has been devided into three parts:the first part is to study whether the catalytic property will be affected by the different intrinsic states of nanoparticles such as shapes and sizes which are synthesized under the certain condition. The second part is to study whether the catalytic property will be affected by the different surface states of Au nanoparticles which are cleaned based on the Go platform. The third part is to study whether the catalytic property will be affected by the size of aggregation which is controlled by using GO as the stabilizer. Based on the investigation above, the work proves that the catalytic property can be affected by the instrinsic states, surface states and aggregation states. In this thesis, we not only summarized but also studied these and propose a better technological condition and method. Besides those, new ideas also have been provided for further study.
