In this dissertation, there are two designs for nano-titanium oxide preparation by explosive mixture and novel emulsion chemical compounds’detonation respectively, based on systematic research on TiO2structure and properties. Parallel tests and orthogonal tests were conducted to figure out the explosive chemicals’preparation process, with that, nano-titanium oxide synthesis and characterization were reached, whose details are as follows:(1) Metatitanic was used as precursor in the first design, by directly being mixed with emulsion explosive, being loaded in PV pipe placed in the explosive cartridge’s center or directly mixing with powdery emulsion explosive respectively. Titanyl sulfate was used as precursor in the second design, through parallel tests to get the best emulsion formulation and the best preparation process:titanyl sulfate solution was gained in65℃with water, and nitrate. After that, oleic phase mixture was heated to80℃to melting. With emulsion machine, water and oil phase were completely emulsified.(2) Using orthogonal tests to get the best sensitized composition and process parameters: NaNO2solution quantity-0.19%HNO3amount-0.1%, foaming agent concentration-40%; temperature-49℃. Then the emulsion agent could be initiated by lOg RDX column, meanwhile, only if added more than35%of the passivated RDX, it could possess cap sensitivity.(3) Emulsified agent general physical and chemical properties:light yellow viscous paste. Through the theoretical calculation, the emulsified agent detonation parameters’value were obtained:detonation heat Qv=3968.8kJ·kg-1, detonation temperature tH=2257.50K detonation let V0=632.22L/kg, Detonation velocity Dv=3706.4m/s; Detonation pressure pCJ=7.30GPa, and the actually measured detonation velocity is3501m/s.(4) Analysis and study on the titanium oxide powder of the second design were conducted using XRD, XRF, SEM, TEM and BET, ultraviolet absorption spectrum: nanometer titanium oxide powder synthesis is feasible with passivated RDX sensitization. The use of nitric acid instead of phosphoric acid could avoid generation of phosphoric anhydride while silicon oxide is the main impurity. The titanium oxide content is90.09%, whose particle shape is mainly oval, including anatase and rutile, whose average sizes are30.7nm and33.1nm respectively. The nano-TiO2specific surface area is27.5944cm2/g, Chemical sensitized emulsion detonation-synthesis titanium oxide’s particle size ranges from210nm to250nm with spherical and ellipsoidal shape, and specific surface area-4.5796cm2/g, Two kinds of sized products possessed outstanding absorption for ultraviolet:passivating RDX sensitized agent-prepared titanium oxide got better absorption to less than351nm-wavelength ultraviolet.
