In this paper, we investaged Euphorbia pilosa Linn, and Piper flaviflorum C.DC to explord their chemiacal constituents and food active constituent. Thirty-five compands were isolated from Euphorbia pilosa Linn, and Piper Jlaviflorum CDC by thin-layer chromatography (TLC), high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), preparative thin layer chromatography (PTLC),repeated column chromatography (CC) on silica gel, Sephadex LH-20. And structures of22compands in35were determined by modern analysis of spectroscopic methods including1H NMR、13C NMR、DEPT、1H-1H COSY、HSQC、HMBC、IR、ESI-MS、HRESI-MS、UV. The cytotoxic activity of some compounds was tested by means of MTT.Twenty-two compands isolated from Euphorbia pilosa Linn, and eighteen compands were idtentified including3new compands, named as euphopilososide A(1), euphopilososide B (2) and euphopilosolide (3). The known compands were jolkinolide A(4), jolkinolide B(5),17-hydroxyjolkinolide A(6),17-hydroxyjolkinolide B(7), ent-3,14-dioxo-16-atisene (8), phorbol(9), langduin A(10),13-hydroxy-ent-abiet-8(14)-en-7-one(11),2,4-dihydroxy-6-methoxy acetophenone4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(12),3,3’-diacetyl-4,4’-dimethoxyl-2,2’,6,6’-tetrahydroxyl-diphenylmethane(13),2,4-dihydroxyl-6-methoxy acetophenone(13),2,4-dihydroxyl-6-methoxyl-3-methylic acetophenone (15), quercetin-3-O-β-glucopyranoside(16), obtusifoliol(17) and β-sitosterol(18).Thirteen compands were isolated from Piper Jlaviflorum C.DC. and four were idtentified. Piperine(1) was rich in Piper flaviflorum C.DC.We selected euphopilososide A(1), euphopilososide B (2), euphopilosolide (3) jolkinolide A(4), jolkinolide B(5),17-hydroxyjolkinolide A(6), phorbol(9), langduin A(10),13-hydroxy-ent-abiet-8(14)-en-7-one(11), which were evaluated for their cytotoxicities against five cancer cell lines and the result indicated that only compand (5) exhibited some activities.
