Drilling engineering has lots of risk, it is a engineering which involve highinvestment, high technical requirements and extremely hidden underground, theprocess of drilling has lots of complex and uncertain factors, therefore, we oftenencounter some unexpected problems in the process of drilling, these makesdrilling engineering has great risk in different degree and forms on each stage. Inthis paper, Tarim piedmont structure is used for studying object, combiningrelated “Research on drilling risk assessment and risk control system of TarimBasin” research project, this paper systematic research on drilling risk ofPiedmont structures, and then puts forward coping strategies. Firstly, applicationof knowledge integration theory to integrate the risk of tarim piedmont drillingknowledge, then, classify and division them according to different properties,realize sharing and reuse of knowledge on semantics. Second, present thethoughts which based on multiple information fusion technology. Make use of many methods of risk evaluation calculation for drilling risk evaluation, establishdrilling risk evaluation model. Third, make use of the real-time information,which provided by seismic, electric logging, measurement while drilling andgeologic control, compound logging, establish real-time risk early warningsystem model based on artificial neural network algorithm, when real-timedrilling parameters value is higher than risk safe threshold value the systemalarm, then, make accident diagnosis and provide effective solution. Finally,design the drilling risk management knowledge integration and intelligentdecisions software system, realized many function such as risk prediction,identify, evaluate, comprehensive evaluation, decision control and preventiontreatment. Thus, make drilling construction high efficiency, safe, low cost, andfinally achieve the drilling without risk.
