Though central to the work of production safety supervision has issued policy instruction, grass-roots supervision work of safety production in today’s high-speed economic development is still beset with difficulties. Supervision of safety production is facing a lot of difficulties:Total accidents are still big; The rectification cost of historical bequeath problem remains rising; New industries continue to bring professional blank of supervision; A large quantity of supervision objects have the trend of diffraction towards the whole society; Enterprise repeat mistakes caused by the accident; Supervision blind still exists; Dynamic problems emerge in an endless stream; The difference of responsibility for the implementation still remains large; In essence, social safety degree is not high; Skill development of the employees’security awareness lags behind the employment rate of recruitment; The device density, capacity expansion is far beyond the conditions for safe production of the enterprises; The situation of safety production is still very serious in the key fields, such as construction, road transport, dangerous goods, crowded places.How to adapt to the changes of economic social development, production safety and the new situation of supervision? While learning from other experience, how to adjust, develop and innovate the supervision work of the current safety production? Above these are currently an important study. The local government, especially the basic safety supervision departments, effectively carries out the supervision work of the local safety production. They try to promote the enterprise’s standardization construction of safety in production. By comprehensively using administrative, economic, legal and other lever, they carry out special rectification of key industries, key areas in the region, strengthen industry guide, accelerate falling into disuse the backward equipments and improve the quality of supervision team. They focus on improving security consciousness of three categories of staff, special operations personnel and even the whole social. They explore an innovation road of production fitted to local conditions, which has a positive and practical significance and will also play a positive role in promoting the supervision of safety production. Local supervision department of production safety is the primary practice explorer to solve safe production work difficult of our country. As a worker in basic safety supervision department for six years, I will take Wujiang’s supervision and management of safety production as the entry point. I will start from the situation of safe production and supervision of Wujiang in recent years. By applying the relevant theory of safety production, I will analyze and discuss the main problems existing in the Wujiang’s supervision of production safety according to the method of combination of theory and practice. I got inspiration from production safety supervision and management experience of western developed industrial countries and proposed my own opinion and suggestions for supervision work of production safety.
