The research and utilization of sea buckthorn yeast is still in the initial stage in our country, and the production of sea buckthorn drinks have not special sea buckthorn yeast but wine yeast. This not only is a waste of sea buckthorn yeast resources, but also has certain effects on the biodiversity of local sea buckthorn yeast. Along with the development of sea buckthorn industry in our country, it is imminent to strengthen the development and utilization of sea buckthorn yeast. In this study,50yeast strains has been separated from the wild sea buckthorn forests, such as Horinger, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia; Huolin River Basin, Tongliao, Inner Mongolia; and Shanxi Province. Through the preliminary identification of strains by WL medium, the yeast strains which represent different WL medium characteristics has been selected. In the way of physiological and biochemical characteristics test and26S rDNA D1/D2regional sequence analysis and building the phylogenetic tree, we will identify this strains to species. The Result Show That, the selected yeast strains belonged to11species of10genera:Candida parapsilosis, Pichia guilliermondii, Pichia anomala, Metschnikowia pulcherrima, Hanseniaspora uvarum, Torulaspora delbrueckii, Aureobasidium pullulans, Cryptococcus flavescens, Sporidiobolus pararoseus, Rhodosporidium kratochvilovae and Rhodotorula graminis, respectively. The results of the study show that, in the samples collected in Horinger, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, Rhodotorula graminis and Hanseniaspora uvarum are the mainly species in this district, inhabited of55.56%; secondly, Pichia guilliermondii,18.52%; Aureobasidium pullulans,11.11%; Candida parapsilosis,7.41%; Torulaspora delbrueckii and Cryptococcus flavescens,7.40%. From these results, the sea buckthorn yeasts in this district show good strains diversity. In the samples collected in Shanxi Province, Hanseniaspora uvarum and Metschnikowia pulcherrima are the mainly species in this district, inhabited of66.67%; secondly, Pichia guilliermondii,16.67%; Aureobasidium pullulans,11.11%; Pichia anomala,5.55%. From these results, the sea buckthorn yeasts in this district show more abundant strains diversity. In the three different environmental factor influences of Shanxi-Inner Mongolia region, the distribution of sea buckthorn yeasts presents comparatively uniform. Hanseniaspora uvarum has distribution in the samples collected in two areas, so this species has a stronge adaptability and a wide distribution.
