Coal and gas outburst is an extremely complicated dynamic phenomenon in coal mine, andis one of the natural disasters which threat the mine safety production seriously. The B1coalseam of the twelfth mine of Pingdingshan Tianan Coal Mining Co., ltd. is taken as engineeringbackground, and based on the theory of plate tectonics, the theoretical analysis, numericalcaculation, engineering measurement and other research methods are used to analyze theinfluence of the regional geological background, the evolution characteristics of the tectonicstress field, structural terrace and terrain curvature on coal and gas outburst. Then the occurrenceof coal and gas outburst must have corresponding geological dynamic environment is gotten. Onthe basis, through building geological structure model, in-situ stress measurement, the stress andenergy of rock mass of B1coal seam are calculated and analyzed. Then, the distribution law ofthe stress of rock mass is determined. The ideal ball shape of coal and gas outburst system modelis established, and its radius and coal and gas outburst critical energy are determined. And therelationship of coal and gas outburst system radius and coal and gas outburst energy isdetermined. Which are used to guide engineering practice.
