Qinghe reservoir is one of the large reservoir comprehensive utilization in Liaoning province. In recent years, non-point source pollution has seriously affected the security and sustainable development of the river basin water quality.Qinghe reservoir basin is the most rural, primarily fertilizers, animal breeding and rural life pollution mainly of non-point source pollution, its contribution rate more fuzzy.Therefore, research on non-point source pollution of qinghe reservoir basin,will formulate qinghe reservoir basin the environmental protection goal and index system, as well as environmental protection planning provide scientific data support.The research results show:Qinghe reservoir basin water system of total dimension value Db=1.1070, each child between river network fractal dimension for0.9786-1.0389.Qinghe reservoir basin in erosion physiognomy development stage childhood, so the entire basin of the fractal dimensions are smaller.By R2=0.9938qinghe reservoir can be seen in the relationship between scale-free area within a better display of fractal characteristics, each child water systems high degree of self-similar to each other. When the fractal dimension of the River basin is less than1, emission coefficient method and fractal method on non-point source pollution load calculation differences are not significant, then both of these methods are applicable; When the water system of the basin of fractal value greater than1, along with the water system basin the fractal dimension value increases, two methods of non-point source pollution load in the basin the calculation of result the more significant differences.Fractal method to calculate the results in greater than emission coefficient method of the calculation results, the explanation:larger river basin water system fractal dimension value, the greater non-point source pollution load will become. Therefore, in the basin of non-point source pollution load calculation, river network fractal dimension is greater than1, discharge coefficient method is no longer applicable, fractal method to evaluate more reasonable and accuracy.
