Assigned in many mining area there are about6.0M in thick coal seam in China, withlarge mining height fully-mechanized technology becomes increasingly secure, a newmethod of high efficiency mining such seams. However, reasonable in fully-mechanizedmining face with large mining height coal pillar size is ensure their safe, efficientcoal-mining and maximize recycling issues of critical importance. Although the problemof coal pillar size predecessors did a lot of research, and achieved certain results, butwith large mining height fully-mechanized face under specific conditions study onrational coal pillar size, undoubtedly has a certain amount of theoretical and practicalvalue.Papers takes the large mining height coal pillar size design of the Changping coalmine as the specific research background, based on theoretical analysis, numericalsimulation and field test research on means of Changping coal mine working face withlarge mining height study on rational coal pillar size. Through onsite field study ofChangping coal mine with large mining height face abutment pressure distribution laws,to face reasonable pillar dimension of accumulation of reliable measurement basis, bymeans of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, undertake a study on realizationof coal pillar stability of reasonable size, and based on the above analysis of the findings,determine the appropriate rational section of Changping coal mine working face withlarge mining height coal pillar size. Finally, to determine industrial experiment of coalpillar and ground pressure observation, to verify the rationality of design coal pillarsize.Papers of the research results to Changping coal mine working face with large miningheight and rational coal pillar size design provides the theoretical basis and test basis,and under similar conditions of coal pillar size design has the certain reference value.
