The precalcining system of the cement production is a key link in cement production, theworking condition of the precalcining link directly determines the quality andquantity of the cement clinker. And the precalcining system, whose coalconsumption accounted for about60%of the cement production process, undertakes eightypercent to ninety percent of decomposed of carbonate., so doing an optimal control to theprecalciner system can not only ensure the quality and production of cement clinker, butalso is a key way to achieve energy saving of the entire cement companies. Moreover, it has agreat help in improving the cement companies’ competitiveness. However, because thereare special problems in cement production, its optimal control is also facing many difficulties.One of the most direct difficulties is that there are non-linear, time varying features, largeinertia and strong coupling in the precalciner system, which has led to its directimplementation of automatic control difficult, and its optimal control is more difficult. Tosolve above problems, the working condition recognition of applied research must be orientedto the precalciner system. Thus on the basis of obtaining the correct results of thecondition recognition, we implement different automatic controls according tothe corresponding operating mode categories, then further to achieve optimal control andimprove the yield and quality of the cement companies to achieve energy saving.To support working condition to the automatic control and optimization control ofPrecalciner system, this article studies the Precalciner system’s condition recognition in NewDry Cement Production. Through the study of the process and mechanism of cementproduction, summing up the experience of the staff at the scene andcombining with intelligent algorithm, the article do research on the Precalciner link’scondition recognition in New Dry Cement Production. Relying on the Natural ScienceFoundation of Shandong Province (ZR2009FL004), and basing on a cement company’s5000t/d of clinker line DCS system,this project aims at finishing Precalcining system’s ConditionRecognition research and design.This paper mainly complete work as follows:(1) Analyze the Cement industry development situation, discuss the background and meaning of the research of the Precalciner link’s condition recognition in New Dry CementProduction and analyze the research status of the Precalciner link’s condition recognition.(2) Make a deep research on the process and mechanism of Precalcining system ofcement production, pick up the Characteristic parameters of Precalcining system of cementproduction and summarize the working condition of Precalcining system of cementproduction.(3) According to different characteristic parameters of precalcining systems of cementproduction, select different Data pretreatment method. And do the identification of thecondition of typical working conditions of precalcining system of cement production.According to the results of identification, give the corresponding control guidance and thenormal production of cement play a guiding role in the normal production of cement.(4) Designd cement precalcining condition identification system based on the expertsystem, this system consists of data collection and experts identify two parts. Data collectionpart: the major function is through the OPC collection real time key parameters data ofprecalcining system in DCS system. Experts identify part: the major function is based oncollected data, identify the operation condition of the cement precalcining system, and giveguidance control, as a reference to the operator provided operation.(5) Complete the development of cement production precalcining system workingrecognition software and realize dapplication. The system consists of the main program,database of working recognition system and OPC communication interface.And detaileddescribe cement production precalcining system working recognition software for theprogramming.Field application verification, cement production precalcining system workingrecognition system can well identify real time operating condiyion, so it has achieved theeffect of precalcining system working recognition, reached the expected effect.
