With the development of national economy, transmission line iron tower are increasingdemanded in the electricity and communications and information industry. Because irontowers are long-term operation in the wild, the surface is easy to corrode, and the safety ofiron towers is affected, tower materials are used hot dip galvanized to prevent the erosion,while the galvanized layer thickness and uniformity is an important index which is affectedthe quality of iron tower. According to galvanized layer detection of tower materials is lowefficiency and detection data is not formed scientific management information system,focusing on the galvanized layer quality of iron towers of manufacturing enterprise beingsupervised and controlled effectively by the state grid, combining with the measurementmethod of modern plating thickness, the technology of quality control and the standardspecification of iron towers, this paper is completed galvanized layer detection of towermaterials which supplied by suppliers in a fast and accurate examination way, the main workof this paper are as follows:(1) At present as galvanized layer detection of tower materials is low efficiency anddetection data is not formed scientific management information system, the purpose and thesignificance of the paper are stated, the detection method of plating thickness and the presentsituation of quality control technology and the research of point layout are reviewed, the mainresearch content of this paper is ascertained.(2) At present as galvanized layer detection of tower materials is low efficiency anddetection data is not formed scientific management information system, the detection methodof galvanized layer of tower materials and the technology of quality control are researched.The process of galvanized layer of tower materials is clarified, the test method of platingthickness and the measuring instrument are analyzed and compared, which providing afoundation for choosing thickness instruments, the coating thickness gauge of QNix8500ischosen for measuring galvanized layer thickness of tower materials, the work principle andthe function of the instrument are discussed.(3) Taking galvanized layer thickness and uniformity of angle steel tower materials asresearch object, reference the enterprise standards and combined with the actual situation ofgalvanized layer detection of angle steel tower materials, the detection scheme of galvanizedlayer thickness and uniformity of angle steel tower materials are made; The way of measuringtwelve points is proposed for measuring the galvanized layer thickness of angle steel towermaterials, the position and number of measuring point of the galvanized layer uniformity of angle steel tower materials are made based on the pitch method and simplified m fonts ofmeasuring principles; According to the principle of control chart,the feasibility which thegalvanized layer thickness is analyzed by x-R chart and the galvanized layer uniformity isanalyzed by x-RSchart is analyzed, which providing a foundation for developing galvanizedlayer detection and quality control system of tower materials.(4) The structure of galvanized layer detection and quality control system of towermaterials is established, the function of each module and the operation process of the systemare analyzed, galvanized layer detection and quality control system of tower materials isdevised and statistical process control is used, the system is developed using the language ofASP.NET and c#and SQL Server2008database in the development environment ofMicrosoft Visual Studio2008, the tower materials automatically data acquisition, galvanizedlayer thickness analysis, galvanized layer uniformity analysis and output statementsintegration are realized.(5) Taking someone supplier which provides a batch of (942pieces) angle steel towermaterials which used for angle steel towers of SZT13double loop line as an example, thegalvanized layer thickness of angle steel tower materials are detected by the way of twelvepoints, the galvanized layer uniformity of angle steel tower materials are detected by theposition and number of measuring point based on the pitch method and simplified m fonts ofmeasuring principles. The galvanized layer thickness of angle steel tower materials areanalyzed by judge analysis and x-R chart, and the galvanized layer uniformity of angle steeltower materials are analyzed by x-RSchart, test results are submitted to the power departmentas report form output, the effectiveness of the system is verified, the efficiency and accuracyof detection are improved and material purchasing of power grid construction is realizedinformation management level.
