Many consumers like Natural pigment due to its unique non-toxic, degradation,health and other characteristicsby, researchers also use it in textile dyeing, however, thedyeing methods are traditional programs. Recently, microencapsulation technology andmicro-emulsion technology received widespread attention and application in all respectsbecause of their advantage.Taking formaldehyde and urea as wall material and changing the molar ratio ofurea-formaldehyde, colloid concentration, the quality of core material and stirring speedwas researched. The results showed the best preparation process was that the molar ratioof urea-formaldehyde was2:3, the dispersant gum arabic concentration was5%, ureawas24g,37%formaldehyde was48.5g, the best quality of core material was2g,stirring speed was1300turn/min, and stirring reaction time was2h.Reserching the made emodin micro-capsules dyeing in three kinds of syntheticfibers showed that in PTT fiber, the best dyeing temperature of emodin micro-capsuleswas110℃,pH of dyebath was4,;in PLA fiber, the best dyeing temperature of emodinmicro-capsules was110℃,pH of dyebath was3;in PET fiber, the best dyeingtemperature of emodin micro-capsules was110℃,pH of dyebath was4. The ability ofUV resistance was improved after dyeing, dry and wet rubbing fastness, wash fastnessand light fastness achieved basichousehold textiles requirements. The residualformaldehyde content conformed the national standards.The centrifugal stability of benzyl alcohol microemulsion was good under acidicconditions. When the amout of surfactant AEO-7was more, benzyl alcohol: AEO-7was3:7,the particle size of microemulsion was relatively small and the particle distributedevenly.The optimum process of oil-soluble curcumin dyeing in silk fabric was that thedyeing temperature was80℃, pH of dyebath was4, the dye amount was8%-16%,thecontaining of buffer in microemulsion was90%, benzyl alcohol: the AEO-7was4:6.Compared to the conventional method, the silk fabric dyeing in the microemulsion, the color yield reduced, but the fastness improved, washing fade fastness and lightfastness were still relatively low, the levelness was better.
