The nitrobenzene is light yellow, which is hardly biodegraded with bitter almondtaste poisonous substanse. It is the primary chemical raw materials in chemical marketand is mostly used in dye, phannacy and so on.Groundwater is important in cities andindustrial agricultural, which has many advantages, such as widely distribution, stability of water quality.Once contaminated,it is difficult to restoration.Due to theincrease of human activities and rapid socio-ecnomic development, the niriobenzene islarge-scale use and discharge, the pollution of groundwater is more and moreserious, causing a serious theat to people living and working. Therefore, the pollutantcontrolled is more and more widespread concern by people, becoming the focus ofresearch. At present, the common technology in degradation nitrobenzene includeschemistry methods、physical methods and biological methods. The biological methodsis not easy to cause secondary pollution, and low cost and can maximize thedegradation of pollutants, this method is widely used.In this experiment, solid biological agents was for the degradation of thenitro-compounds of groundwater and to degradate it of biological agents. In thisexperiment, mcroorganism of the biological agents acclimated; raw water and itsdegradation prioduct made full-scan;degradation characteristics of strain were alsostudied, such as nitrobenzene concentration, cultured temperature, pH and speed, etc..DGGE is applied for the study of the changes of biological community. The experimental results showed that the biological agents is acclimation of28days, the degradation rate of nitrobenzene is up to95%,by full-scan, the effect ofdegradation of nitrobenzene is significant by the biological agents. When thenitrobenzene concentration is200mg/L, the degradation rate is highest;which was to99.5%. Growth temperature of strain was10℃under the best condition;when pHwas7and the speed was120r/min,the strains is strongest degradation of nitrobenzene. we can see from the result of DGGE:each lane contained bands are more andcontained diversity of strains. In summary, the strain of the biological agents are with efficient degradation, arewidely range of applications, and become an important bacteria source to degradatenitrobenzene of contaminated site, they also provide valuable experience for theimplementation of the project, and provide theoretical support for the sitebioremediation.
