Aeroengine maintenance decision based on advanced state monitoring measure, reliable and reasonable evaluation method to formulate the perfect maintenance plan, finally prolong-ing engine life, reducing engine maintenance cost and improving efficiency of engines.With the speedy development of the computer and information tech-nology the Virtual Manufacturing (VM) technology has been substantial to the Advaneed Manufaeturing Technology (AMT). The proeess simulation of numerically controlled machine tool is the pivotal technology of VM, and also the intersection of the modern technology such as numerical control, simulation and virtual reality technology.VRML has been intended to be the open standard of3D interactive development environxment of VR on Internet. The NC simulation system based on VRML is provided with open structure and fine expandability, the interactive operation of which is well adapted to different kinds of development environment based on Internet. This paper researches the executive plan of the NC simulation system based on VRML, which employ the3D virtual reality scene of VRML assimulation environment and employ the network server as transfer station of simulation information to fulfill the work of NC simulation by the long-distance cooperation of clients. This paper has meet with success in the key technology of the NC simulation and the main content as follows:Firstly, study preliminarily exploration of CNC machine movement structure, and use Pro/e and VRML to collaboratively establish grinder entity model and the movement model. The paper put forward a new simulation system running on the network.Secondly, use VRML language with its external application program interface mixing programming technique to realise simulation software module of NC machining process. The NC code complier, material removel and collisions interference inspection technologies are studied through the desiging process.The third, establish three-dimensional sports demonstration and assembly environment based on network. Customers can browse for machine tools on the interactive virtual assembly and well understanding machine structure through the browse. The fourth, the paper is based on the web server through the windows operating system using ASP technology and combining ADO data access technology to establish web server system. As service and interaction platform of the information of processing and simulation based on the VRML numerical simulation system, realize the basic functions such as the user login and user message, which is basic for further information exchange platform to construct network times.Study the NC simulation system based on VRML for Internet application, which needn’t to rely on the expensive CAD/CAM software, and be able to achieve the share of machining simulation information and the integration of manufacturing resource conveniently between corporations and enterprises. Researeh and development on the simulation system can improve the production efficieney and processing capability of manufacturing enterprises, and make a firm foundation for informatization and modernization in the field of manufacturing.
