Electroslag remelting furnace is a kind of equipment which remelts and crystallizes the ordinary smelting metals into ingots of higher quality. Along with the economic development, steel of high caliber is required by industry and electroslag remelting furnace is being used more widely. Therefore, it is necessary to do the research concerning the structure of electroslag remelting for application.In this dissertation, it uses ANSYS software to analyze electroslag remelting furnace consumable-electrode transmission system.Electroslag remelting furnace consumable-electrode transmission system mainly includes two parts:the electrode holding wishbone and the column. The establishment of electroslag remelting furnace consumable-electrode transmission system model is first completed in ANSYS software, and then is the overall analysis in the four state. The result shows that the strength of the system could meet the requirements. Plus, the electrode holding wishbone model is established and analyzed in statics. Thereby, through structural reasonable improvements, the maximum stress value of wishbone is reduced and thus offers reference to design electroslag remelting furnace.By the analysis of the case without consumable-electrode and that with consumable-electrode, it figures out the ten order natural frequency of electrode holding wishbone and vibration mode. By doing so, it can provide a reference for avoiding the occurrence of resonance.Owing to the wheel scroll back and forth on the wheel-rail, there is contact stress between the wheel of electrode holding wishbone and wheel-rail of column. And excessive contact stress will lead to wheel and rail and wheel surface contact fatigue. When movement suddenly changes, dynamic load may exert a strong shock and vibration to the metal structure. To solve these problems, contact analysis concerning the wheel of wishbone and wheel-rail of column is studied, the contact stress is calculated and then reference is provided for extending the working life of wheel and rail.Analysis result shows that the structure of electroslag remelting furnace meets the strength requirements and provides a theoretical basis for electroslag remelting furnace consumable-electrode transmission system design and modification.
