Lvshun as the famous resort in the domestic and overseas, its central landscape area is largelycentralized around the land and sea ofthe Port Arthur. The Port Arthur is the entrance of the Hupo Bay, the famous Lvshun Port is located in Hupo Bay. The Hupo Bay is belong to semi-enclosed portfrom nature, the Port Arthur is the only channel that Hupo Bay can connect with sea. The famous landscape Tiger Tail is in the Hupo Bay, she is the specific landform of sediment movement and coast development for billions of years:it’s not onlythe natural barrier ofThe Hupo Bay so that bad situation appears rarely here, but also the biggest obstacles of poor water circulation in Hupo Bay.With the development of economy and tourism rapid population growth.now silting increased and water quality deterioration is serious in the Hupo Bay, the environment and sustainabledevelopmentof Lvshun district has been threatened, we must solve the problem of the Hupo Bay in a comprehensive way.Based on the special geographical environment and the topographical features of the Hupo Bay. the treatment principle we should take is permanently and completely guaranteed water quality inthe Hupo Bay and does not destroy the landscape aroundthe Tiger Tail. To explore a comprehensive treatment project, here weuse numerical simulation method to compare effects of different project management scheme ofthe Hupo Bay.We compare and evaluate the project scheme in water exchange capacity and sediment transport capacity, establishing the2-d hydrodynamic model, suspended sediment concentration calculation model based on Mike21.on condition that the Tiger Tail is not spoiled by current(sediment nearTiger Tailmaintaining dynamic balance). we compare water change and sediment movement of different project scheme then get recommended one.The results show:Proving the hydrodynamic model andthesuspended sediment concentration calculation model with the measurement current andsediment data.the results show:The tidal currents of the study port belong to informal half-day shallow sea tidal current.The shoal water presents spring tide is stronger than neap tide, the deep water presents spring tide is weaker than neap tide, the velocity near Hupo Bay is higher than the velocity in deep water, the hydrodynamic model display water velocity is weak in semi-enclosed port. Thesuspended sediment concentration calculation model shows suspended sediment concentration near shore is higher than it in deep water, sedimentation in the Hupo Bay is most serious.The Port Arthur channel to the sea isn’t enough for theHupo Bay, it can’t improve environment of theHupo Bay so it’s necessary to dig another channel.We put forward three project scheme of digging channel, comparing the computation flood and tide flow and sediment transport.. The results show the plan that digging two tidal channels, channel bottom elevation is-2meters, the width of the bottom channel is100meters and the width of the middle channel is150meters is the recommended scheme.
