With the rapid development of modern manufacturing industry, the CNC machine tool is developing towards high speed, high precision and efficient processing. Structure characteristics of key components of CNC machine tool affect the machining accuracy and work stability directly, so the design of key components is the focus in the study of machine tool manufacturing. Around the national science and technology major project "automobile engine flexible automatic production line innovation platform", this paper studies the structure optimization design technology of key parts of CNC machine to01in order to improve the e the machine performance and provides theoretical basis for the design of CNC machine tool.The paper analyzes the static and dynamic characteristics of machine tool parts to find the weak link of machine parts based on the finite element analysis method. According to the results of finite element analysis, lightweight design technology of the machine tool structure is studied based on response surface method and goal driven size optimization. And then, the technology of topology optimization design based on density method is carried out to search for the optimal structural form of the key parts.First of all, according to the structure characteristics of the CNC machine tool, finite element analysis that is suitable for CNC machine tool is carried out, including mesh, constraints, loads and the setting of contact surface. Through the analysis of the actual working status of CNC machine tool, finite element analysis model of the machine which is simulated by setting up reasonable constraints between parts and load conditions is established.Then, dynamic and static characteristic analysis of CNC machine tool based on the finite element analysis method is researched. According to the statics theory, the paper analyses the static characteristic of the key parts of CNC machine tool and the deformation and stress of the parts are studied by displacement and stress nephogram. And then the dynamic characteristic is researched based on modal analysis to study the low order natural frequency, vibration mode and vibration characteristics of machine tool, providing a reference for structure optimization analysis for the rest of the article.Thirdly, response surface method and goal-driven optimization design method is researched, and a size optimization design method about CNC machine tool that combines with the two methods based ANSYS is carried out. The important design sizes of the key parts which have a great effect on the structure property are found out based on the sensitivity analysis method. For the purpose to reduce weight, the goal driven optimization design is performed based on response surface method to research the optimal structure size.In addition, the improvement of the performance of the optimized structure is analyzed.Fourthly, the paper researches the topology optimization design method based on the variable density method and the continuum structural topology optimization method applied to lightweight design of the key parts of CNC machine tool is carried out. The paper analyzes the structure layout of the key parts of the CNC machine tool and topology optimization is carried out based on variable density method with the Optistruct module. In the end, improvements are carried out to make the key parts be provided with the most reasonable design structure and the ideal materials layout, to raise the design level of the key parts of CNC machine tool.
