| In the development of economic globalization today, the foreign direct investment asthe main way of international capital flows on a global scale has been widely used, relationship between investment and environment accompanied with has attracted manypeople’s attention. In recent years, the amount of foreign capital utilization in China isincreasing, fully affirmed the pull of foreign capital on China’s economy and promoting roleat the same time, also become increasingly prominent negative influence of FDI on theenvironment. From a theoretical point of view, foreign direct investment will producetechnology spillover benefits and learning from demonstration effect, which to some extentthat the foreign direct investment can promote the improvement of the environment. However, considering the complexity of the relationship between FDI and the host environment, as wellas the "Pollution Haven Hypothesis" theory, the foreign direct investment may have anegative impact on the environment. Therefore, in order to relations between foreign directinvestment analysis and the host environment comprehensive integrated, based on theenvironmental effects of foreign direct investment theory as the theoretical basis, from thescale, structure and technology three aspects to analyze the impact of foreign directinvestment on China’s environment.According to the environmental effects of foreign direct investment theory, study theinfluence of foreign direct investment on China’s environment through the combination oftheoretical and empirical analysis. The basic idea is: first, the research background and theselected topic introduces the significance, the main research results in the field of domesticand foreign scholars, drawing on previous research results based on the perspective of thisresearch, research method, structure arrangement, and the difficulties and innovation.Secondly, the system presents the fundamental theory of the relationship between foreigndirect investment and the environment, including the "Pollution Haven Hypothesis","pollution halo effect" and the foreign direct investment and ecological environment of thecomplex relationship theory. Third, the foreign direct investment of our country is generaldescription, including the total amount of foreign direct investment, industry distribution offoreign direct investment, and the distribution of pollution intensive industry of foreign direct investment, which provides the data basis for the follow-up to the empirical analysis. Fourth,on the basis of above theoretical analysis, the establishment of a measurement model ofsimultaneous equations, analysis of foreign direct investment on China’s industrial pollutionemissions from the three aspects of scale, structure, technology (industrial wastewater, industrial emissions, industrial solid wastes) production effect, demonstration effect of foreigndirect investment in China the environment with realistic visual data analysis, and the effectsof industrial wastewater as an example to explain the mechanism of influence of foreigndirect investment on the industrial wastewater emissions. Finally, according to the results ofempirical analysis and combining the current reality, the future foreign direct investment putforward feasible suggestions to promote all, investment development and environmentalprotection in parallel. |
