Microwaves is a kind of electromagnetic waves of a frequency range from300MHz-300GHz. Under microwave irradiation, the rotation of the molecule of polar substance will accelerate.it will increase the inner energy which converted to heat to produce thermal effects. With the development of science and technology, it is a higher demand on the processing of textile materials, the characteristics of uniform, fast, energy-saving, efficient, non-polluting on the microwave drying method for handling a variety of textile materials has been paid more attention. With the clothing of the twenty-first century toward to be more comfortable,convenient, special functional and naturely. The most comfortable natural fibers, including plant natural fibers and animal fibers (protein fibers) is increasingly favored by consumers, the processing technology on the plant fibers, such as cotton and hemp is relatively mature, it hardly injured the fibers. But limited the temperature and time of the drying step in the process of the protein fiber, the protein fibers can not be processed conveniently,thus limit the yield of the product. The technology of microwave vacuum drying can reduce the drying temperature, and not reduce the drying efficiency.This technology can be used to solve the problem of protein fiber drying. This paper proposes the use of vacuum microwave drying technology for protein fibers drying. Currently, this drying technique has not been widely applied to the field of textile materials drying, but the application of this technology in other areas at home and abroad proves its feasibilityIn this thesis, this technology is used in the processing of cashmere fiber.cashmere fiber drying.The technology highlights the characteristics of high efficiency and low temperature.First, the vacuum microwave drying equipment began to be studied, the principle and the usage of the device has been summarized.Based on the understanding of the laboratory equipment, experiment is designed to study the effect of the technology of microwave vacuum about the factors of the vacuum degree, the water content, the power,the display methods, the drying time in the drying process. The research method is designing experiments,analysing data on the basis of theoretical analysis.The experiment found some rules:the higher the vacuum degree, the lower the maximum temperature in the fiber drying process; the heating modeof the vacuum microwave drying process is inside to outside, and the inner heat is difficult to discharge, the inner fiber is easy to be injuried; the larger water content of the fiber result in the longer drying time, the fiber size certain changes, but the fiber mechanical properties isn’t damaged, and even is slightly upgraded; the different power shows different drying temperature versus time; drying time is controlled by the temperature terminal control theory.The paper also do some research about the cashmere fiber after the vacuum microwave drying on SEM and surface friction coefficient test.The experimental results show that the longer time the vacuum microwave drying,the cashmere fiber make the scale cohere to the cashmere fiber.Finally, the paper do the research about the energy consumption and efficiency in the drying process, the comparative analysis between the traditional drying and vacuum microwave drying way prove the characteristic of the technology of vacuum microwave drying is low-energy and high-efficiency through data analysis...
