Collarette pattern has a long history as a kind of clothing accessories pattern, it has unique aesthetic function and human function to appreciate and develope for people so far. There are variety types of collarette pattern which are different on visual aesthetic perception and culture. Along with the time changes and the development of science and technology, the theme and type of scarf design also are more and more extensive, the form of expression and process also emerge in endlessly. This subject is based on the scientific analysis and research on the richness and diversity of the scarf pattern systems. This paper mainly discuss the modeling, colour, and technology of lady’s scarf design and study the relationship between lady’s scarf pattern, style and function of clothing.Recently, the research of scarf is mainly about the collocation and technology, there’re barely material of in-depth study on the scarf pattern, lack of academic theoretical discussion and analysis, therefore, it is necessary to collect and classify, explore its continued existence and development of the theoretical basis, this is the necessity of the study in this paper.This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the brands development of women’s scarf by using the picture data analysis and tables contrast of the women scarf pattern through the comparison of domestic and foreign brands scarf. Its helpful to establish and spread scarf brands in China. By means of analysing and researching on the scarf pattern design elements, to supply further and broaden ideas for scarf pattern design, provide designers with a reference to the female consumer likes and dislikes, enhance designers’ understanding of female consumers, to improve national scarf design. By means of research of scarf pattern and function’s relationship to promote women’s scarf pattern’s practicality and aesthetic combination of development, explore the deep cultural relations of scarf pattern and clothing; find traditional and modern design’s combination through research of the innovative design of the scarf pattern, to provide the theoretical basis and practical guiding significance for scarf pattern art design, to improve the the scarf designs quality and aesthetic value.
