Research On ERP Management System Of The Textile Industry

As one of the pillar industries in China, the textile industry occupies an importantposition in China’s foreign trade. Relying on the advantages of the unique naturalresources and human resources, China became one leading trading country in thetextile export. Thanks to the development of the textile machinery and computertechnology, the textile industry has been through unprecedented changes. Althoughmany textile enterprises in China have advanced textile machinery, the low level ofmanagement and information management impact Chinese internationalcompetitiveness in the textile industry. It is critical to improve the management leveland market competitiveness of the textile enterprises in the textile business byimplementing the ERP information management system. For the reasons illustratedabove, this paper aims to study an ERP information management system for the dyeingand printing textile industry, and with the data mining technology, tries to providetechnical supports to the enterprises by both the technology and the data.Considering the problems faced by the cooperative enterprises in the process ofproduction, this paper make a demand analysis and models of the ERP managementsystem, design and enforce it, which enables the enterprise to improve the quality oftextile products and reduce the production costs. This information management systemnot only record the static data, but also record the dynamic data of the productionprocess, in this way, the data mining was performed in order to find the potentialinformation.By analyzing the company’s business process, the production process as well asthe implementation technique, the ERP management system was successfully designedto meet the company’s development need, and the data was successfully mined whichaims to provide the decision-making criterion for the company. The research content of this paper, as well as the prospective of the future areconcluded at the end of the paper.
