In this dissertation, we put emphasis on study of the interaction of antibiotics and bacteriaby the theory and technique of microcalorimetry. The mechanism of two antibiotics, onecopper complex on the metabolism of E. Coli was analyzed based on the thermodynamics, respectively. Meanwhile, the thermal stability of raw materials and tables of acetaminophenwere also studied. The results could provide reliable theoretical information for the synthesisand filtration of drugs, clinic applications and storage. The effects of Levofloxacin Lactate in Sodium Chloride Injection, LevofloxacinHydrochloride in Sodium Chloride Injection on the metabolism of E. Coli DH5α werestudied by microcalorimetry, at370C. The microbial activity was recorded as power-timecurves through an ampoule method. For these two drugs, E. coli growth rate constant k,half-inhibitory concentration IC50and critical growth concentration were obtained. Theresults show that the inhibitory abilities enhance with increasing concentrations of the twodrugs, the Levofloxacin Hydrochloride in Sodium Chloride Injection has slightly strongerinhibitory effect on E. coli DH5α than that of Levofloxacin Lactate in Sodium ChlorideInjection. The microcalorimetry was utilized to study the effects of [Cu(oda)(2,2’-bipy)]2, Cu2+andLigand (HOOC-CH2-O-CH2-COOH,named as ODA) on E. Coli growth. The power-timecurves of E. Coli growth were obtained at different conditions. And correlativethermodynamics parameters were calculated. The results showed the inhibitory abilities ofCu2+and ODA enhanced with the formation of copper complex. At the same time, thetoxicity of2,2’-bipyridine reduced. The thermogravimetry (TG) curves of raw materials and tablets of acetaminophen (PAPA)were measured by thermal analysis. According to these TG curves, the apparent activationenergy and pre-exponential factor for raw materials and tablets of acetaminophen wereobtained by Kissinger method. Based on Arrhenius equation, the thermal degradation rateconstant k is calculated. The thermal analysis results show that the thermal stability ofacetaminophen tablets is higher than that of raw material. The thermodynamic parameters infusion process of raw material and tablets of acetaminophen were obtained by differentialscanning calorimetry (DSC).
