The high pour point oil have higher pour point, viscosity and higher wax content,so there are much difficulties to the transportation of the high condensate oil. Microwave heating have some unique property, so using the microwave in the improving the high pour point oil’s rheology process will give us a good prospect.Firstly, paper study on whether the microwave improves the rheology of the high pour point oil. Then changing the interaction parameters of the microwave, according to the experimental results we can analyze the internal factors by the theory.Secondly, the components and structure of the crude oil were also tested before and after the experiments by means of chemical analytical means such as infrared spectrum,chromatograph spectrogram and so on. According to experimental results, the mechanism of microwave on the high pour point oil was analyzed qualitatively.Finally, in order to increase the action effect,some sensibilizers are added to high pour point oil.Experimental results show that the microwave can remarkably improve the high condensate oil rheology, and this improvement is permanent. Different microwave parameters have different effects,microwave can change the activation energy of the reaction.It exists an optimal microwave parameters using microwave to improve the rheology of the high pour point oil. From the research we can find that the reaction mechanism is the microwave can make the wax in the long chain breaks into small molecules, thus reducing the macromolecular content and decrease the viscosity,wax crystal structure can change from fine and divided single lattice into the bulky crystal structure,it have smaller structural strength and like some globose or arborescence crystal structure, and completely changing the lattice structure, so reducing the freezing point and viscosity, rheological parameters. The sensibilizers can improve the the action effect of microwave.
