The preparation methods of heavy calcium carbonate and the production process were summarized and the influence the quality of grinding equipment conditions and process parameters were analyzed. It summarized the heavy calcium carbonate production optimization direction. This paper analyzed all kinds of grinding equipment, and compared the advantages and disadvantages of various equipment and application scope. Then we selected the commonly used stirred mill equipment, analyzed the various parameters of the equipment. Through the above analysis, the affect of dispersing agent was researched. This paper researched the dispersant dispersion type and dispersion mechanism, and pointed out the way to improve the dispersion properties and selection standards of dispersing agent.Because of dispersant closely related to specific surface area, we studied specific surface area change trend, to determine dispersant dosage. The research results showed that fineness and particle size span of this method are better than normal dispersion method. It makes coarse whiting pulp in a good dispersion state, to be beneficial to uniform lapping particles. This paper also studied the mixing dispersion experiment, and got a good result.Through the above research, we got grain refining and distribution narrowing method, to provide the theory and experiment support for the production.
