The synthesis technology of para-terephthalic acid and1,3-propylene glycol was studied. Results showed that the optimum processing conditions with C4H10O22Sn as catalyst was as follows:the esterification temperature wais180~190℃, PDO/PTA mole ratio was1.8/1, the amount of C4H10O2Sn/PTA was o.2mg/g, the condensation temperature was225~230℃, the condensation time was1~1.5h and the intrinsic viscosity of PTT was0.650dL/g.Determinated the data of the kinetics of the esterification reaction between para-terephthalic acid and1,3-propylene glycol and regressed these data with lumped kinetic model. Results showed that the reaction order of para-terephthalic acid was1.8, and that of1,3-propylene glycol was0.9.Used para-terephthalic acid (PTA)、meta-terephthalic (PIA)and1,3-propylene glycol, neopentyl glycol as main raw material to synthesize membrane using poly terephthalic acid neopentyl glycol propylene glycol copolyesters (PNT copolyester hot-melt adhesives), and its performance was tested. The effect of neopentyl glycol and its amount on the initial melting point of thermofusible polyester rubber was focused. Results showed that under the same reaction condition, the initial melting point of polyester hot melt adhesive varied with the amount of neopentyl glycol. When the mole ratio of alcohol and acid was1.8/1, PTA/PIA was3/1,NEO/PDO/P400was25/24/1,and the catalyst was Sn/Ti, the eterification temperature was190~195℃,the condensation temperature was225~230℃and the condensation time was1~1.5h, the initial melting point of thermofusible polyester rubber was48℃.
