The Air Pollution Reasons And The Preventions Of Yanji City In Jilin Province

With the rapid development of science and technology, the human is more capable of conquering and transforming nature than before, which promotes the process of human civilization tremendously. At the same time, the environmental pollutions caused by the rapid development of human beings are increasingly significant. The air pollution is one of the ten most critical environmental problems in the world.China is one of most serious air pollution countries in the world, especially the air pollution in cities, which presents the trend that more serious in northern cities than southern cities. In a whole, the air pollution in our country is characterized by coal-smoke, the main pollutants are particulate matter and SO2; some of the cities belong to the mixed pollution (coal-smoke and vehicle exhaust).As the capital of Yanbian, Yanji city, in which air pollution is more serious, is the northern city typically. There was an accident of carbon monoxide poisoning, which happened in2006, causing291people poisoned and15people died. The accident has taken bad effects on the society and economy of the ethnic minority border areas.This paper took the atmospheric environment of Yanji city as the research object and the theories of environmental science, environmental meteorology, environmental management as the foundations. In the paper, the author analyzed the air pollution reasons of Yanji city from the perspectives of nature, energy, infrastructure and industry layout; forecasted the atmospheric environment quality. Finally, five preventive measures were suggested to provide scientific basis for air pollution control in Yanji City and to promote the harmonious and stale development of society.
